Here are some of the unusual, funny, epic and naughty names of barangays here in the Philippines.

  1. In Malate: Barangay Kabantutan
  2. In Pandi, Bulacan: Barangay Masuso
  3. In Bocaue: Next to Pogi Street, comes Kalye Buntisan
  4. In Palauig, Zambales: Barangay Titi-on
  5. Bisa, Sorsogon: Barangay Ticol
  6. Sexmoan, Pampanga (changed to Sasmuan in 1991)
  7. There’s a barangay in Batangas called: Barangay Walang Balahibo Ibaba
  8. In Barangay Inuman in Antipolo, you’ll also find Inuman Elementary School

  18. In Sorsogon, there's a town called Gubat. So when asked, "Taga saan ka?" They answer: "Taga-Gubat."

  21. We live in Sitio Supot, next to Sitio Matae

  24. In our hometown in Albay, "Mababang Paaralan ng Mataas"
  25. Pasong Kabayo is right next to Pulong Ebak
  26. In Aurora, Quezon: Barangay Pulong Puki
  27. In Leyte: Barangay Kapukian and Barangay Cantutang
  28. In Lucena: Barangay Tampalpuke
  29. A barangay in Bacacay, Albay is named HINDI. So,signages read: "Hindi Elementary School", "Hindi Barangay Hall", "Hindi Health Center", etc. So confusing!

    Misinformation. Number 10, there's no such place as Barangay Bading in Guagua, Pampanga.

    Number 6, its Sasmuan not Sexmoan.

    in Quezon city next to sto domingo there is a bgy they call it Barangay Matalahib, but theres no talahib (tall grass) everything is concrete.
