- In Malate: Barangay Kabantutan
- In Pandi, Bulacan: Barangay Masuso
- In Bocaue: Next to Pogi Street, comes Kalye Buntisan
- In Palauig, Zambales: Barangay Titi-on
- Bisa, Sorsogon: Barangay Ticol
- Sexmoan, Pampanga (changed to Sasmuan in 1991)
- There’s a barangay in Batangas called: Barangay Walang Balahibo Ibaba
- In Barangay Inuman in Antipolo, you’ll also find Inuman Elementary School
- In SM Fairview, there's a jeepney going to Bigte. So the barker goes: "Sinong magbi-Bigte diyan, sakay na!"
- In Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, you'll find Barangay Bading
- Lasingan Town, in Quirino
- In Tarlac: Barangay Mapuke
- In San Narciso, Quezon: Sapang Matae (people call it SM for short)
- In Lucban, Quezon: Barrio Latiti
- In Palawan : Barangay Tinitian
- In Nueva Ecija: Barangay Maestrangkikay
- In Camiguin, Barangay Ma- ipis is next to Barangay Bangag
- In Sorsogon, there's a town called Gubat. So when asked, "Taga saan ka?" They answer: "Taga-Gubat."
- In Batangas: Barrio Makeke
- Sisters of Mary Convent, Brgy. Pulong Diablo, Antipolo Rizal
- We live in Sitio Supot, next to Sitio Matae
- In Bataan: Barangay Bayag Kabayo
- In Calamba: Barangay Tulo
- In our hometown in Albay, "Mababang Paaralan ng Mataas"
- Pasong Kabayo is right next to Pulong Ebak
- In Aurora, Quezon: Barangay Pulong Puki
- In Leyte: Barangay Kapukian and Barangay Cantutang
- In Lucena: Barangay Tampalpuke
- A barangay in Bacacay, Albay is named HINDI. So,signages read: "Hindi Elementary School", "Hindi Barangay Hall", "Hindi Health Center", etc. So confusing!
- In Tagkawayan, Quezon: Barangay Kinatakutan

in Quezon city next to sto domingo there is a bgy they call it Barangay Matalahib, but theres no talahib (tall grass) everything is concrete.
